In his paintings he draws a road full of promises in a highly complex way. It is not surrealist painting, as we understand this universal concept, but the wonderful surrealism of Latin America: driven by imagination and surprise, by the dazzle of myth and the wonderful essence of the American reality. What stands out most in his work is the prudent distinction that is present and the distance that he takes from the reality. His references emphasize atmospheres, moods, reflected feelings and even symbols that show a concern for that reality. His works are elaborated with sobriety of colors and lights, halfway between the drama and the comedy, between the unreal and the reality of every day, the dream and reality.
